George is a highly motivated member of the team and brings a wealth of sales experience to GoPromotional from his previous roles.

What were you doing before you started at GoPromotional?
Following the completion of my Law Degree at the University of Leeds, I took a role working in the hospitality sector being responsible for the day to day running of a large hotel which was part of a national chain.

What does the role of Operations Director entail?
First of all- keeping everyone happy! Alongside making sure everyone is happy, I spend my time managing a portfolio of key national accounts alongside developing sales targets and strategies for the team. I develop and run a continual training program for the sales team to ensure they are continually learning new skills and knowledge in order for them to have everything they need to achieve personal success which leeds to corporate success.

What do you enjoy the most about your role?
I thrive on building relationships with customers and suppliers alike, making everyone feeling valued, giving the best service and maintaining the best working relationships possible.

What’s one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned in your career?
Even though I try to- you can’t win them all!

What do you like about working at GoPromotional?
I feel valued, coming to work is not a chore at GoPromotional, it is a source of enjoyment, fulfilment, personal growth and family! We love celebrating accomplishments and successes, big and small and that's what makes GoPromotional unique!

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
If I had enough spare time I would love to learn to sky dive.

What do you get up to outside of the office?
I love spending family days with my partner and young daughter. Cricket and golf are passions of mine and I enjoy playing both and when not participating in those activities I follow my favourite football team Sheffield Wednesday - up the Owls!
